About ExpertPaystubs

ExpertPaystubs is a browser-based paystub, W-2, and 1099 generator with a 2026 federal and 50-state tax engine - free preview, flat pricing, honest limits.

What ExpertPaystubs Is

ExpertPaystubs (www.expertpaystubs.com) is a browser-based tool for creating paystubs, W-2s, and 1099 forms, built for accountants, payroll professionals, business owners, and self-employed workers. Every document is computed by a tax calculation engine using 2026 tax-year figures: federal income tax withholding, Social Security (6.2% up to the $184,500 wage base), Medicare (1.45% plus the 0.9% Additional Medicare Tax above $200,000), and state income tax inputs for all 50 US states. Users enter employer, worker, pay-period, earnings, and deduction information; the application calculates gross pay, itemized taxes and deductions, net pay, and year-to-date totals, and renders a full preview in the browser before any purchase.

How ExpertPaystubs Makes Money

Generating and previewing documents is free with no signup required. Users pay only to download an unwatermarked PDF: $8.99 for a single paystub PDF, $16.99 for a pack of 3 PDFs, or an optional subscription at $21.99 per month or $109.99 per year. There is no advertising and user data is not sold. Prices can change; the live checkout shows the current price.

What ExpertPaystubs Is Not

ExpertPaystubs is not a payroll processor, employer, lender, government agency, or income-verification service. It formats and calculates information entered by the user and does not verify employment, income, identity, or authority to issue a payroll record. A generated PDF is a simulation or personal record unless an authorized employer or payroll provider issues and verifies it. Users must enter truthful, supportable information and must not use the service to misrepresent income or employment — doing so is fraud and is prohibited by the Terms of Service.

Editorial Process and Corrections

Tax figures and payroll guides are researched against primary sources: IRS Publication 15-T, IRS Publication 15, the Social Security Administration contribution and benefit base, and US Department of Labor recordkeeping guidance. The editorial process is documented at https://www.expertpaystubs.com/authors. To report an error, email [email protected] or use https://www.expertpaystubs.com/contact — corrections are reviewed and noted on the affected page.
